12th January 2014.

I am grateful for travel delays.

Or, I am grateful for extra ‘me’ time thanks to travel delays.

Today, an hour and 20 minute journey took two and a half hours thanks to engineering works, badly timed trains and replacement buses.  That’s usually a nightmare, but today is Sunday and I had the luxury of nothing pressing to get home to.  So, I had a little sleep, finished a good book and educated myself about #BoycottAutismSpeaks.  There are lots of people writing about the subject so I won’t add my thoughts at the moment, but if you’re interested in finding out a bit more this is the website,  this is one of the things which sparked the boycott, this is a brilliant blog and this is a good place to find out more.

(I’m also grateful for hyperlinks today.)
